PMU & PMC Team

Governing Body (GB) is the highest decision-making body within the society. The Additional Chief Secretary (Forests & Environment) chair the GB meetings. GB will rigorously review the project progress vis-à-vis annual plans and will monitor the status of disbursement. It will review the functioning of the PMU (society) regularly and guide PMU to prepare proposals for the HPSC.

Executive Body (EC) provides enabling environment for sharing proposals on any areas of project functioning, and encourage the members to provide new ideas, views, and concerns. Member-Secretary of EC will keep systematic records and the proceedings of all such meetings. The key functionalities are such as developing of operational manual,  approval of proposals on procurement of Goods & Services, preparation of APO and closely monitoring the physical and financial progress of the project.

Project Management Consultants

PADECO a leading Japanese Consulting firm is engaged as Project Management Consultants by Gujarat Forest Department to provide consulting services and assist the Project Management Unit in implementation of the project activities by providing the following services:  

1.  Assistance in the management and monitoring of the project

2.  Technical assistance in the implementation of the project components/activities in an efficient and effective manner

3. Facilitation of implementation of Environmental and Social Management System Framework (ESMSF) and Scheduled Tribe and Forest Dependents Plan Framework (STFDPF)

4. Technology Transfer

Total Duration of Consulting services: 60 months

Total Consulting inputs: 227 man-months (46 man-months for International Experts and 181 man-months for Local Experts.
