The Project for Ecosystem Restoration in Gujarat (PERG) is a pioneering initiative aimed at restoring and enhancing the ecological balance of coastal and inland ecosystems. Supported by JICA and the Gujarat Government, this project focuses on mangrove development, grassland restoration, wetland conservation, human-wildlife conflict management, and institutional strengthening.Β
